What to Pack for your Labour at the Perinatal Center?
Documents and their copies:

identity document

compulsory health insurance policy or internal affairs certification

Marriage Certificate (if you have it)

Voluntary Health Insurance policy (if you have it)
You should also bring:

maternity leave application or its copy
-
copy of the identity document of your spouse (pages with a photo and residency information for the registration of birth)

These documents are needed for your identification and the registration of birth.
Medical documents:

pregnancy health record
-
copies of the medical examinations and information on doctor consultations

agreement
-
contract or referral for hospital
-
maternity cash benefit for medical expenses (after labour you will be given papers that you need)
We advise you to put into transparent plastic bags and to bring with you the following items:

surgical masks

mobile phone and its charger
-
pen and notebook to write down the recommendations of doctors

compression stockings – elastic compression garments coming in varying degrees of compression, class 1 (is there is no recommendation to wear higher compression stockings)
-
thermometer (better to take a mercury thermometer)
-
medications that you take or are going to take after your discharge from hospital (including LMWH)
-
1.0-1.5 plastic bottled water
-
snacks for labour
-
rubberised slippers
-
comfortable clothes
-
towels
-
personal care products, cosmetics and hair brush

toilet paper
-
postpartum pads

disposable maternity panties

soaker pads

nursing bra with breast pads

five or six empty bags

cup, spoon and fork

your own glucomètre in the presence of diabetes, including gestational diabetes, so that you won’t have to visit the laboratory 4-6 times a day.

wet wipes for newborns

things that you will need at discharge from hospital (these things can be brought later)

foods prohibited at hospital

swaddling clothes
Note! Artificial nails must be removed before being hospitalized. This is necessary for pulse oximetry.
